We all know how corporations have had an effect on our election process. The 2 Party System even has laws protecting it. Major Parties do not have to jump through the same hoops that minor parties do. Well, now, a new ruling by the Supreme Court opens the way to EVEN MORE CORRUPTION! The Campaign Finance Ruling allows corporations, companies and labor unions to spend their money to promote or advertise in elections. The effect this will have is dramatic. There are some democrats raising objection to this recent ruling. Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) said, "The Supreme Court just predetermined the winners of next November's elections ....It won't be Republicans. It won't be Democrats. It will be corporate America." At ATP, we contend that corporations and "Big Money" control both major parties. We believe that the only way American's can have a non biased election process is to limit the affect of financing, We want Campaign Finance Reform that will give any Party that has enough signatures a certain amount of Free Advertising! The fact that corporations will now be now be able to wield their powerful funds, toward or against any candidate, is an total slam against democracy! We must now act to tell everyone to vote for America's Third Party. Word of mouth advertising and the internet will defeat these corporate elitists! Spread the Word!
