In a time when you can order items from around the globe in the comfort of your home, it may seems a step backward to think locally. However, Americans are tired of losing jobs to overseas workers. Therefore we must invest in regional production. With the rising cost of fuel, transporting goods over long distances doesn?t make economic or ecological sense. Americans want to buy products made in the USA; the Essential Store will provide them this opportunity- owned and operated by the American people, it will compete with multi-national corporations!

Let?s use the best of technology to our advantage. We no longer need to work long hours thanks to automation. Much of the work we accomplish can be completed from home via telecommuting. Rethinking the way business is done in America will lower pollution and bring back a sense of community.
