Currently, in the State of Washington there are over 451 Wind Towers at the State line adjacent to Oregon. New development is encouraged with certain counties offering "Energy Overlay" zones. These zones are pre-approved by local governments, paving the way for leasing farmland with minimal red tape. The farm land can still be used to harvest food while the farmer can receive between $2,000-$5,000 per year for each windmill. Wind is a renewable resource that can provide America with electricity far into the future, The initial investment in windmills is well worth the longterm benefits.

At America's Third Party, we have a unique solution to our ailing power grid. Windmills can be attached to every power pole across America. This would literally tap into the electric grid at the source of generation. Although large windmills create more electricity, these windmills will be powerful in their sheer multitude. In addition, large amounts of land will not need to be purchased for "wind farms." Instead, we will be using pre-existing power poles, which already fill the skyline. These poles will be used to not just transmit, but also to generate the electricity we use everyday.
